InMotion Hosting has significantly improved their web hosting service since our last review. They now offer unlimited disk space and bandwidth, support for most programming languages/environments, and one of the most complete support packages we've seen to date.

InMotion Hosting is also accredited with the BBB, and has an awesome 'A-' rating. We would like to see InMotion support Ruby on Rails (RoR), and clearly post pricing for hosting upgrades such as dedicated IP addresses and SSL certificates.

If you don't need any of that 'fancy' web hosting, InMotion Hosting is still a solid company with a stellar support record. They're also highly favored among professional and personal web hosting users, as noted by their high marks on other popular web host review sites.

InMotion Hosting's pricing is middle of the road. If you're not happy with their service you can cancel within 30 days of signup and get your money back.

Your first domain registration/transfer with InMotion is free. We didn't find pricing for additional domains, dedicated IP addresses, private domain registration, or SSL certificates.

InMotion Hosting offers standard domain services like search and registration, parked and add-on domains and subdomains at no added charge. If you want domain privacy or need to transfer multiple domains to InMotion Hosting it will cost extra.

Ecommerce hosting through InMotion is compatible with Google Checkout, and shopping cart systems like Cube Cart, OS Commerce, and Zen Cart. An SSL secure certificate is needed if you intend to accept credit card payments, and is not free.

Another area where InMotion Hosting are not clear about their service is Email. They offer POP3, IMAP, SMTP, and Webmail, but don't list how many addresses or how much storage space you get. Forwarding, Aliases, catch-all accounts, auto-responders and spam protection are standard with InMotion's most basic package.
